Seated on the couch, Jason’s head whipped toward the bedroom door when
he thought he’d heard the doorknob turn. Did he hear small footsteps walking

restraint he forced on himself since they entered the suite. His mind played
tug of war with him. Every ounce of his being wanted to barge through those
